This section of the Irish Era is really an extract from the main A-Z and just covers those stations which broadcast on the shortwave band.  It includes shortwave only hobby stations, and those local stations who had 'official' shortwave outlets, however brief.  It does not include those stations whose harmonics were often heard at various places, or those whose AM or FM outlets were relayed for a few minutes at a time.  As in the main A-Z, there may be many stations we have missed, especially before 1976.
