Emerald Radio International was believed to have operated during late 1992 and possibly into 1993. Announcing as broadcasting from the banks of the River Liffey with 100 watts, an address for QSL cards was given out as ERI, 8 Inverness Road, Dublin 3. There was also a telephone number announced. Unfortunately we do not have one of their QSL's in our collection.

Recordings of Emerald Radio International

1992_12_13_sun_emerald_6240sw_doctormartin_soulshow-gh861.mp3 New Aug 2022 Here is a short and partly airchecked recording of Doctor Martin Soul Show from the morning of 13th December 1992. A mailing adress for QSL's was announced, and names of some listeners were read out along with a hello to Paul Murray of DLR. After the end of Doctor Martin is the start of the 'Magazine Programme'. Reception near Blackpool on 6240kHz wasn't the best on this recording, with some crackling and splatter from an adjacent station (possibly Jolly Roger Radio in Waterford). 21MB
