ABC RADIO: This station was operated from Waterford City during 1981 by two former UK shortwave operators who both worked on the local AM / FM station Suirside Radio.  This particular ABC Radio was on the air before the station of the same name began broadcasting in Tramore in early 1982. 

The QSL sheet below also gives information about when the station broadcast. Notice there are three IDs on the page. ABC RADIO (The stn name), Suirside Radio (Their day job stn), and Waterford Community Radio!!!!
