1979_12_25_radio_condor_dublin_1130-1200_6243_john_paul_jones_c60_56_kb.mp3 New Mar 2023 | This is a recording of John Paul Jones between 1130 and 1200 GMT made in Scotland on Christmas Day 1979 from 6243.33kHz. This frequency often suffered interference from some sort of beacon which caused a heterodyne whistle and made listening difficult at times. This can be heard throughout this recording, which also has the usual fading associated with shortwave. The show includes weather for Ireland and an interesting report on the price of Guinness. |
