RADIO LUIMNI audio clips are linked below. There are only a handful, but this includes the closedown in 1988. The two recordings from 1981 are from separate recorders, made while in Limerick in 1981. Gary's rec is approx 10m short of 3 hours. The bit rate is extremely low for the Raidio Luimni clip from 1984 which came from an unidentified chap who got in touch via email a few years ago, who's name escapes me just at this time. The recordings from 2250kHz were recorded in Scotland, at night on the second harmonic, so please excuse the reception. Dave Small recorded a few tapes on his travels including an early one of Radio Limerick in 1979, before it was Raidio Luimni. This file includes The Angelus Bells at 6, which someone has been looking for a recording of for a few years. |

There were plenty of advertisemets in this recording. This programme was followed by Tom Tobin with 'Community News Roundup'. The recording is by kind courtesy of Dave Small who was on a radio discrovery trip to Ireland at the time and received Radio Limerick on 1355kHz. |
