This is the main audio index of THE DX ARCHIVE. These links take you to historic recordings of radio stations of the past. Here you will find memories from all ends of the radio dial, although much of the material featured is from Ireland.

Some stations, eg Radio Nova, has such a vast collection of recordings that it has it's own page. Many others with only a few recordings are listed simply on the main Irish Download page. I do hope you will find this updated (since February 2012) index easy to navigate.

Because we are once again placing direct links on a single server, this style of indexing also gives us the opportunity for any descriptions and comments on specific recordings where required. The dx archive recordings don't tend to make use of the ide3 comments.

Rodney's archives on the other hand, have been left the way they were sent to us, including the file names. Extensive use of ID3 is made in Rodney's files. This collection of Irish radio recordings has been contributed by Rodney from the Craigavon / Portadown area of Northern Ireland. Rodney's archive covers the 1988 closures of the popular Irish pirates, and various other extracts from KISS FM Monaghan, KITS Monaghan, KISS FM Craigavon, Century Radio (Irish short lived National station), and Capital Radio 104.4 Dublin. Capital was the countries first legal independent commercial radio station, after the controvertial pirate closedowns of 1988.
