Possibly the earliest QSL card design from 1980.

A QSL card from 1997.
The card colour is a luminous green but came out blue on a scan, so this is the nearest we can get to the original luminous colour.

1980_06_08_sun_wmr_7340sw_daveanderson-gh574.mp3 New Mar 2025 A few minutes of airchecks of Dave Anderson on Sunday 8th June 1980, one of the early transmissions from Weekend Music Radio. There seemed to be an issue with the broadcast tape chewing up on site during the middle of the recording, although it did recover. As received in Leeds on 7340kHz. 8MB

1989_01_01_sun_wmr_1150-1325_jackrussell_irish_closedowns-ghe575.mp3 New Oct 2023 On the day after the AM and FM dials went silent in Ireland following legislation, here is Jack Russell on New Years Day 1989 making his comments on the empty wavebands, and taking a long phone call from Paul Graham. The recording starts with the end of the German Service, and then a few minutes of Steve West. Unfortunately the tape runs out just before sign-off. 130MB
