Venus North was a shortwave station operating from North West England
during the early to mid 1970s. They had also operated on medium wave
before this period as can be read in the station information sheets
below, which were received from operator Steve Arnold following a
reception report in October 1972. |

A mention of Radio Venus North was given in Sweden Calling DXers Bulletin Number 1209 from 16th January 1973.
It was
interesting to read in this report that they also announced as broadcasting in Welsh.
