The photographs here were taken in 1986. The photographs here were kindly supplied by Phil Hilton. Amongst other stations, Phil worked at Radio West during 1986 and was the first presenter of the Sunday morning 'Anorak Show' which was tuned into by both listeners and station operators who were interested in the world of radio. The studio location of Radio West at 17 Patrick Street, Mullingar. On this particular photograph can be seen the Radio West Van, as well as the FM aerials on the roof, which linked out to both FM relays which covered the Midlands, and the AM site just South of the town.
