Although the letter heading is for 819kHz, following a raid on the station in May 1983 during which the powerful transmitters were removed, the station operated for several months through the Summer on 828kHz (a registered channel for Ireland) on reduced powerof around 1kW. When the original equipment was returned in October 1983, the Radio Nova resumed broadcasts on 819kHz.
