Radio Caroline Cork was unknown to any of the dx archive team until a visit to Cork in 1981, when a very distorted signal was being broadcast on 98.85 approx on the FM band. We had asked a few folks in the street for directions, but no one at that time had even heard of the station. So we were unable to visit that one.

Virtually nothing was ever really known about Radio Caroline Cork, but at some point in the 80's they were on the air on 1560kHz MW, which did make it to the dx receivers in Scotland.
