WINB was one
of two religious shortwave stations which operated from the United States
in the early 1970's.
The other was KGEI in California. They were joined in around 1974 by WYFR
from Scituate, Massachusetts
following a buyout of WNYW. Despite the power of 50kW, WINB put in a regularly
good signal into Europe on 15185kHz.
