| This station had a career of only a couple of years actually offshore, yet the sagas and stories about the fight to bring cheap offshore sounds to Holland from the Dutch coast are many. The signal was never heard very well until there were night time broadcasts on 1611 in 1979. This was heard over a very wide area of Europe.
