Radio Veronica 104.7FM operated regularly for a number of years from the mid 1980s. It was first reported by Tim Jackson on 13th July 1986. The station served  South Liverpool on 104.7MHz, but could quite often be heard much further afield depending on activity on adjacent frequencies. It initially operated on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but later just on a Sunday. It was last believed reported heard in February 1989.

As received on 104.7MHz near Blackpool. There is some static and odd fades due to the distance the signal had to travel. 117MB

At around 2pm, Neil Frazer comes back with the station sign-off.  Neil apologised to listeners for a problem with the phone line, which appeared to have been hi-jacked.  Also as received near Blackpool on 104.7MHz. The transmitter can be heard switching off at the end. 57MB
