Merseyside Music Machine (MMM) was a short lived station which was heard during early 1981. As far as we are aware, MMR operated during weekday evenings and not at the weekend. The magazine clips below are from issues of Soundwaves Magazine in early 1981.

1981_01_13_merseyside_music_machine_266m_0000-0100_davidjason_test_transmission-EM.mp3 New May 2021 David Jason hosts a show on what he announces as a 'brand new radio station' which is broadcasting for 4 hours. The frequency is not announced as it is a test, but at this point was around 266m. Some whistles and noise from what was probably a vfo transmitter. Many thanks to Eric Monaghan for the recording. 57MB
