Radio Merseyland operated in 1987, and broadcast on various
frequencies around the 217m area of the medium wave band. As far as we
are aware there was no link with the station of the same name which
broadcast in the early 1970s. |

There was some anger at someone trying to the pull the aerial down, and the station briefly left the air. Recorded in Wallasey from 1395kHz.
