IRISH PIRATES A / Z

Finglas Community Radio was one of many stations that appeared during annual community and festival periods, and which operated in different parts of Dublin during the 1980s. According to the flyer below, initially Finglas Community Radio seemed to be on AM 1584kHz / 189m, although we are not sure of the year, as Community Radio Fingal (Skerries) used this channel from late March 1982. In April 1983 Finglas Community Radio were heard on 97.7MHz FM only, confirmed by the recording we have listed here.
