Toxteth Community Radio was heard on 104.9MHz around 1989 to 1991. The station put out a good signal across Merseyside and and had a varied music format, including some Arabic and Somali programmes.  Once the legal KFM came on the air in Manchester on the same frequency, the TCR signal coverage became more limited.
