Kirby Community Radio was heard with test transmissions during
December 1987 announcing as 199m. It is not thought they commenced regular
braodcasts. The frequency on the recording we have was around
1524kHz, although it mentions 1521kHz and the possibility of further
tests on 1512kHz. |

Steve was usually heard with Rick Dane on Radio Atlantis on 1197kHz at the the weekends. The frequency was mid-channel on 1524kHz, hence the wintertime whistles as it was received near Blackpool, but announced as the on channel 1521kHz. The recording lasts from around 1:30pm until sign off at 2:40pm. |
