The Merseyside Free Radio Organisation was formed in early 1971, before being renamed later that year as the Cheshire Free Radio Organisation (CFRO). They produced a newsletter at various intervals from 1971, the contents of which included free radio news and other information for the radio enthusiast in Merseyside. By 1973 it seemed that the CFRO was looking to merge with other Free Radio Organisations around the country, and we have no newsletters after October 1973. The issues below have been created in pdf format and are by kind courtesy of Rodger Dee, being originally from the collection of the late Alfred Quilliam (aka Bert Williams) who was one of the pioneers of free radio on Merseyside.
