VISIT TO RADIO CARLOW
| We
don't have an awful lot of material on Radio Carlow, but the station
did make it into Scotland on 1413kHz in 1981. Signal was not wonderful,
but it covered the area intended with ease. A couple of images are given
of the studio and the transmitter in 1981. It is unsure when Radio Carlow
closed down. Towards the end of 1988 there were two stations operating
in Carlow, by the same family. (Or so the story went) But something
tells me there was a period with no local station??? Help anyone?? |
